     On the morning of May 19, 2021, the Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition opened at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee Xu Dazhe announced the opening of the exhibition, and Provincial Deputy Secretary and Governor Mao Weiming delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Before the ceremony, Xu Dazhe, Mao Weiming, and others met with representatives of participating guests and jointly visited the exhibition hall.

Tian Yulong, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended and spoke. Wang Ruixiang, President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, delivered a speech. The ambassadors from the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Peru, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of South Africa, and the Republic of Vanuatu, as well as provincial leaders including Xie Jianhui, Zhang Jianfei, and Chen Fei, were present. The opening ceremony was hosted by Wu Guiying, a member of the Provincial Standing Committee and Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee.

The exhibition closely revolves around the "Three Highs and Four New" development strategy, with the theme of "Intelligent New Generation Construction Machinery." It consists of four main parts: exhibition display, summit forum, business activities, and competitive performances, with 18 special areas set up for concrete machinery, lifting machinery, etc. It aims to build a global platform for the construction machinery industry for release promotion, demonstration experience, and transaction cooperation, creating a world-class international construction machinery exhibition.

The exhibition area reached 300,000 square meters, attracting 32 of the world's top 50 construction machinery companies, including Caterpillar, SANY Group, Zoomlion, Volvo, Shandong Lingong, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Liebherr, Doosan, Metso, JLG, LiuGong, Shin Caterpillar, Terex, Genie, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Case, Manitowoc, Tadano, Fayat, Palfinger, and others. Additionally, 6 Fortune Global 500 companies, including Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Mitsubishi, ExxonMobil, Weichai Power, Shell, and Isuzu, participated, making it a world-class construction machinery event.

This exhibition is jointly hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the China Construction Machinery Society, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Hunan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Changsha Municipal People's Government.
