Shandong Gold Mining donated anti-epidemic materials to Hong Kong

On July 31, Mr. Du Qiang, Executive President of Shandong Gold Mining Hong Kong Co., Ltd., visited the New People's Party headquarters with other heads of Shandong state-owned enterprises in Hong Kong, and met with current Legislative Council member, New People's Party Chairwoman Mrs. Ye Liu Shuyi, and New People's Party Regional Development Director Ms. Chen Jiapei.

 

Mrs. Ye Liu Shuyi reviewed and thanked Shandong Gold, Hualu Group, and other Shandong enterprises in Hong Kong for their steadfast support to the SAR government and the New People's Party over the years, expressing admiration and gratitude for the patriotic and pro-Hong Kong forces from Shandong.

Mr. Du Qiang and other heads of Shandong enterprises stated that the current epidemic situation in Hong Kong is severe and continues to spread, causing serious impacts on Hong Kong's commercial exchanges and local retail economic activities. Shandong enterprises will continue to unite all patriotic and pro-Hong Kong forces to fully support Hong Kong in overcoming difficulties and jointly maintain Hong Kong's prosperity and stability.

Both sides exchanged views on the development opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The Shandong Gold Mining Hong Kong Company and other Shandong enterprise groups donated medical masks and hand sanitizers and other anti-epidemic materials to the New People's Party, which will be distributed to Hong Kong citizens through community councilors' offices.
