The China Steel Structure Association's Drill Steel Tool Subcommittee held a review meeting for the group standard "Connecting Rod Drill Bit" on July 12-13, 2021, in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province. A total of 17 participants attended, including the main drafting unit, participating units, and expert group members. The meeting was chaired by Gan Hairen, a member of the China Steel Structure Association's Standardization Committee. Dai Shilun, chairman of the main drafting unit Qianjiang Jianghan Drill Co., Ltd., delivered a welcome speech. The leaders and experts present at today's meeting included: Dong Xinye, secretary of the China Steel Structure Association's Drill Steel Tool Subcommittee; Gan Hairen, member of the Standardization Committee and professor; Hu Ming, deputy secretary and chief engineer of the Drill Steel Tool Subcommittee; Chen Ru, deputy general manager and senior engineer of Tianrui Magnetic Suspension Intelligent Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd.; Dong Chun, chairman and senior engineer of Xuanhua Supman Drill and Mining Machinery Co., Ltd.; Hu Sande, senior engineer of Jianghan Drill Bit Co., Ltd.; Cui Panchao, director and senior engineer of Luoyang Jinlu Hard Alloy Tool Co., Ltd. (Rock Drilling Engineering Tool Research Institute); Gong Kangqiang, chairman, general manager, and senior engineer of Yichang Wuhuan Drill Tool Co., Ltd.; and Xu Suicheng, director of the Drill Steel Tool Subcommittee. The participating units included: Qianjiang Jianghan Drill Co., Ltd., Shougang Guigang Special Steel Co., Ltd., Lianhuashan Rock Drilling Tool Co., Ltd., Wuxue Changjiang Tool Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Planka Drill Tool Co., Ltd., Shandong Tianrui Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Jinchang Aowei Metal Co., Ltd., and Ordos Shendong Tianlong Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. The participants included: Dai Shilun, Wang Zuchuan, Wang Jilan, Xiong Jiazhe, He Xiaodong, Hu Jingming, Shen Guohua, Li Yongsheng, Zhang Qun, Yu Defang, and Fang Xinjun.

The group standard "Connecting Rod Drill Bit" is compiled in accordance with current laws, regulations, and technical policy requirements, and complies with the compilation procedures of the China Steel Structure Association's group standards. The review materials are complete and meet the review requirements.

2. The group standard "Connecting Rod Drill Bit" underwent extensive and in-depth investigation and research during its compilation process, taking into account the current situation, requirements, and experiences related to connecting rod drill bits, and referencing relevant standards from Europe, America, Japan, and other countries, ensuring the advancement and scientific nature of this specification.

The meeting unanimously agreed to pass the review of the "Specification". It is recommended that the drafting group further modify and improve the submitted draft according to the opinions and suggestions from the review meeting, and quickly form a report for approval to be submitted to the China Steel Structure Association.
