The field investigation work for the comprehensive natural resources survey project in the coastal zone of Zhanjiang, Guangdong, undertaken by the Yantai Coastal Geological Survey Center of the China Geological Survey, is in full swing.

It is understood that the project mainly conducts offshore environmental quality surveys, mangrove special surveys, coastline erosion and sedimentation monitoring, and land quality surveys, aiming to understand the types, quantities, distributions, qualities, ecological conditions, and characteristic properties of natural resources in the Zhanjiang area of Guangdong, explore the working model for comprehensive natural resources surveys in coastal zones, and provide basic data support for the construction of a natural resources survey and monitoring system.
