The 916th team of the Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources recently completed the investigation and evaluation of the limestone mine for cement use in Hengpo, Fenyi County, Jiangxi Province. The project completed geological surveys at a scale of 1:10000 over an area of 0.97 square kilometers; profile measurements at a scale of 1:2000 over 0.85 kilometers; trench exploration of 612 cubic meters; basic samples of 311 pieces, composite samples of 6, and rock mineral identification samples of 3 pieces. The investigation preliminarily estimates the predicted resource amount of the limestone mine for cement use in the area to be 13624.41 million tons, with an estimated amount of interbedded rock (high-silica limestone) of 1013 million tons.
