Abandoning the development model of "focusing only on the present and ignoring the long-term; polluting first and treating later; destroying first and restoring later" is an important aspect of the land reclamation and ecological mining efforts at the San Shan Island gold mine. During the development process, the mine strictly adheres to laws and regulations regarding mineral resources, safety production, and environmental protection, and earnestly implements the requirements and relevant regulations set by higher administrative departments. It has invested over 20 million yuan to comprehensively green the mining area, planting more than 11,400 trees, with a greening area of 104,000 square meters, achieving a greening rate of 100% for the area that can be greened, thus realizing the simultaneous planning and implementation of ecological protection and mineral resource extraction.

TBM is a new and advanced tunnel construction machinery that excavates using rotating tools while breaking the surrounding rock and advancing, forming the entire tunnel cross-section. The prominent feature of this construction method is its high safety; however, the high cost of full-face tunnel boring machines, their large operating power, and maintenance costs are significant challenges.

They provided detailed arguments on the regional metallogenic geological background, geological conditions, distribution patterns of ore deposits, occurrence patterns of ore bodies, and mineralization characteristics of the four gold mining areas: Wulong, Zhuanshanzi, Honghuagou, and Tianbaoshan. They believe that there is great potential for deep exploration and proposed specific exploration target areas.
