The numbers in the model of Atlas Copco's hydraulic rock drill consist of four digits, where the first two digits represent the impact power of the drill, and the last two digits indicate the specification of the drill rod. For example, COP3038 indicates that the impact power of the drill is 30 kW, and the thread diameter of the drill rod is 38 mm. Of course, the impact power represented by the numbers is only a rough range or a power level; for instance, the actual impact power of the COP1238 series is between 12 and 18 kW, while the COP1838 series has an actual impact power of 18 to 22 kW. The numbers indicating the thread specifications of the drill rod represent an optimal specification.
